In a development strategy to incorporate subsidized housing with government facilities in the same neighborhoods the Bloomington Apartment project has been a huge success. Boudreau pipeline, working for trade partners Portrait Construction and Related Property Management is currently building the infrastructure for phase two of four of this apartment community centered around the Bloomington Branch Library, built as part of phase 1. Phase one included the installation of over 9,000 linear feet of sewer, water, fire water & storm drain piping highlighted by a 14,000 cubic foot retention / infiltration system designed to receive and release all of the site's storm water back into the ground water supply. Phase two is a near carbon copy of the first, with another 8,000 cubic foot storm water retention system. With two more phases still to develop this project looks to continue the partnership for years to come.
